What we collect

This site does not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. The calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser — the inputs you enter (trade, cover level, revenue band, etc.) are never sent to our server or stored anywhere; they exist only in your browser's memory while the page is open.

We use Google Search Console to understand how the site performs in Google Search. This does not track individual visitors on this site directly — it reports aggregate data from Google about search impressions and clicks.

Server logs

Our hosting provider may retain standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) for security and operational purposes, as is standard for any website. These are not used for marketing or shared with third parties beyond what's necessary to operate the server.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links — see our disclaimer. If you click through to a provider's site and take out a policy, that provider's own privacy policy governs any data you give them. We don't receive or store your personal details as part of that process.

This site does not set marketing or advertising cookies. Any strictly necessary technical cookies (if introduced in future, e.g. for basic functionality) will be disclosed here before use.
